So, as many of you know my daughter was hit by a truck a few weeks ago. She was hurt pretty bad but is recovering well. Much quicker than expected actually. All of the well wishes and positive vibes were much appreciated. There is still a long road to her full recovery though and the financial fallout from the last few weeks is starting to become more clear.
During this time I had to turn down a couple of petty well paying jobs. I also haven’t been able to work everyday. As you can imagine being a self employed artist is a pretty tough path. In fact many of you know this from first hand experience. If I don’t work everyday it’s not good. The bills are starting to come in from the hospital, insurance, prescriptions etc,etc. So, things are pretty tight right now.
The positive side of that is that I am forced to get off my ass and start hustling again. I am also posting some poster packs and handbill packs for sale on gigposters.com. The poster packs will be filled with a random selection of posters. These bad boys are hand screen printed and limited edition. If there is a particular poster you really, really want of mine let me know and if I have a copy I’ll stick it in there. The one poster I can pretty much guarantee will go in each tube is my Melvins 2 headed dog poster from 06. Not a lot of those were released so they are somewhat “rare” All of the posters are signed by me and most are from the numbered run. A few here and there will be artist proofs.
